Nathan Dintenfass
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Welcome!
If you'd like to get in touch with me here's how.
I have a diverse skill-set, mixing strategy, marketing, brand positioning, web application development, and management experience. My passion is fostering new ideas and building teams around those ideas to make them a reality.
If you want an overview of my career view my resume. If you want the longer version of my career read my bio. I also blog occasionally over at Venture Geek.
Some Highlights of My Experience:
Redux
In late 2007 I was recruited by folks at Alsop Louie Partners to be VP Marketing at one of their early-stage portfolio companies, Redux. We're building a Discovery Network -- but until we launch I can't say much more...
VideoEgg
In 2007 I was Product Manager for the VideoEgg advertising platform. There I got a crash course in the online ad industry, led the ad product through launch of its first 3rd-party video offering and major releases in social media application ads, and started programs for "deep engagement" beyond the ad unit.
UC Berkeley
After graduating in 2006 from the MBA program at UC Berkeley I spent an extra year doing a post-graduate Fellowship at the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation writing case studies, doing outreach to the venture and entrepreneurial community, and assisting with various Lester Center programs. While at Berkeley I created the New Venture Fellows (now called Haas Venture Fellows), a select group of MBA students who work with venture capitalists and help aspiring entrepreneurs in the UC Berkeley ecosystem. I was also co-chair of the 2005 UC Berkeley Business Plan Competition and worked on the youth mentoring program Young Entrepreneurs At Haas and the Global Social Venture Competition. I was awarded a 2005 Price Institute Fellowship and the 2006 Gloria W. Appel Award.
STIRR
STIRR is a network of startup founders. I joined the STIRR team in 2006 and created the STIRR PitchLab, a forum for entrepreneurs to get frank feedback about their business concepts and investor pitches.
Apple
I was a summer intern at Apple while getting my MBA at UC Berkeley. I worked in marketing in Developer Relations, writing an MRD for an existing market and researching product strategies for new markets.
Branuity
Branuity was a software-as-service company that I co-founded in 2001. The company provided a web-based platform to assist growth companies with brand strategy and market positioning.
Syntegra
Syntegra is the systems integration arm of British Telecom. I started and managed their West Coast office (at the time it was Control Data Corporation) in 1999 when they acquired the assets of ChangeMedia.
ChangeMedia
ChangeMedia was a strategy and technology consulting company specializing in custom web applications I co-founded in 1998.
Center for Strategic Technology (Andersen Consulting)
I was part of the Executive Workshop Team at Andersen Consulting's (now Accenture) Center for Strategic Technology in 1997.
Creative Internet Solutions
Creative Internet Solutions was one of the first web shops to build business applications. I interned there for 2 years starting in 1995.
Nicenet
Nicenet is a small non-profit organization I co-founded in 1995. We provide a free web-based classroom environment for teachers and their students around the world. In 2005 we had our millionth user, and we currently serve about 35,000 students and teachers each semester.
